Notice of Public Hearing on Tax Rate: 2026

The Harris County Municipal Utility District 1 will hold a public hearing on a proposed tax rate for the tax year 2026 on 10/13/2026 at 12:00 PM at 2727 Allen Parkway, Suite 1075, Houston, Texas 77019. Your individual taxes may increase at a greater or lesser rate, or even decrease, depending on the tax rate that is adopted and on the change in the taxable value of your property in relation to the change in taxable value of all other property. The change in the taxable value of your property in relation to the change in the taxable value of all other property determines the distribution of the tax burden among all property owners.

Lakes at Creekside Section 4 Drainage Improvement Information

Phase 1 Construction project is substantially complete.

Phase 2 Construction project started in September and is expected to be substantially complete in December 2024 pending weather conditions.

Your individual taxes may increase at a greater or lesser rate, or even decrease, depending on the tax rate that is adopted and on the change in the taxable value of your property in relation to the change in taxable value of all other property. The change in the taxable value of your property in relation to the change in the taxable value of all other property determines the distribution of the tax burden among all property owners.

Please note that our operator Municipal Operations & Consulting (MOC) will be on call 24/7 during this time to ensure that MUD #1’s water and wastewater systems will remain online and functioning as intended.
