Lakes at Creekside Section 4 Drainage Improvement Information

Phase 1 Construction project is substantially complete.

Phase 2 Construction project started in September and is expected to be substantially complete in December 2024 pending weather conditions.

Notice of Public Hearing on Tax Rate

The Harris County Municipal Utility District 1 will hold a public hearing on a proposed tax rate for the tax year 2023 on October 10, 2023 at 12:00 PM at 2727 Allen Parkway, Suite 1100, Houston, Texas 77019. Your individual taxes may increase at a greater or lesser rate, or even decrease, depending on the tax rate that is adopted and on the change in the taxable value of your property in relation to the change in taxable value of all other property. The change in the taxable value of your property in relation to the change in the taxable value of all other property determines the distribution of the tax burden among all property owners.

Visit Texas.gov/PropertyTaxes to find a link to your local property tax database on which you can easily access information regarding your property taxes, including information about proposed tax rates and scheduled public hearings of each entity that taxes your property.

Preparing for the Freeze

HCMUD # 1 Residents, we are expected to experience colder than normal temperatures during the next few days.

Please note that our operator Municipal Operations & Consulting (MOC) will be on call 24/7 during this time to ensure that MUD #1’s water and wastewater systems will remain online and functioning as intended. Low Water Pressure – July 8, 2022

Attention HCMUD 1 Residents: We are aware that some areas of our district are experiencing low water pressure. H2O Innovation is in the process of determining the cause of the problem and we will do our best to remedy this issue as soon as possible. Please bear with us.

Sign Up for the District’s Alert System

The District has implemented a text alert system for the residents of Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 1. This system is designed to keep you informed of issues related to the District in a quick and timely manner. You may receive messages in text alert format related to the water service in the District, drainage and sewer related topics, and other news that is relevant to the District.

Text message notifications will contain a short amount of information with a link back to the District’s website where the remainder of the information can be viewed.
