Trash Pickup Rescheduled to Saturday, January 25th
Due to circumstances beyond our control, the trash for HCMUD 1 will not be picked up until Saturday, January 25th. Please note, this is for TRASH ONLY! Recycling will resume with the trash service on Wednesday, January 29th.
Garbage Collection Update: Weather-Related Changes for January 22nd & 23rd
Due to inclement weather conditions and closing of the landfill, there will be no garbage collection today, Wednesday January 22nd. We will do our Wednesday collection on Thursday, January 23rd with a delayed start.
Inclement Weather Update
Due to the inclement weather conditions, the trash pick-up service on Wednesday January 22, 2025 will be delayed, but will take place as scheduled. If you have plants that die due to the cold weather, they will be considered as storm debris and handled accordingly. If the inclement weather causes the landfill to shut down, we cannot pick up your trash on the assigned day, but it will be picked up the following day.
Our Operations Team have field people in the field around the clock to manage any disruptions in our water supply should they occur as well as having Office Staff in the office around the clock to receive calls and dispatch personnel as needed if a situation arises. We are doing everything we can to prepare for this weather condition in our district.
